GP GRUPPO POZZI

Production and sale of accessories and hardware articles for furniture.

The Pozzi brothers, Gianni and Alberto, opened their first shop for the sale of furniture hardware in the 1960s. Due to the presence of numerous carpenters and furniture industries in the area, the business immediately received a significant number of requests. This allowed them to quickly expand their workforce and create a warehouse for managing goods. At this point, the business extended its reach beyond the Brianza to Veneto and the Pesaro area, two other locations historically known as furniture production hubs in Italy.

To respond quickly and flexibly to the ever-evolving needs of the furniture sector, Gruppo Pozzi expanded its offerings over the years, becoming a reference point for technical articles, kitchen and wardrobe accessories, drawer slides, table slides, and hinges. They built an entire production hub in Cremnago di Inverigo (Como), covering approximately 15,000 square metres.

In the 1990s, additional product lines were introduced alongside the production of furniture hinges. The aluminium division was established, producing the first profiles for cabinet doors and sliding systems. In many cases, the products were patented as innovative solutions. An example is the DIY door profiles which, thanks to an innovative hinge and accessory attachment system, eliminate the need for complex machining of the profiles, enabling the construction of an aluminium door using only a simple cutter and screwdriver. During these years, Gruppo Pozzi became an exporter of furniture hardware to over 60 countries worldwide.

In 2008, the Group built an entire anodised aluminium oxidation plant where aluminium components such as handles, hinges, bar profiles, and various small parts were treated, offering a wide range of thicknesses, colours, hardness levels, and finishes.

In 2024, under the leadership of the second generation and following an internal restructuring, the company founded a new company, GP Srl, which consolidates all the experiences and services provided up to that point.
